| PROBLEM |
| Rings or ridges of coating on rollers or
blankets. |
| CAUSE |
- Not enough pressure between rollers
or blanket.
- Not enough coating being applied.
- Too much coating being applied.
|
| SOLUTION |
- Adjust rollers and blanket settings,
tighten NIP.
- Increase coating viscosity.
- Check for low areas in roll blanket
and blanket packing. Replace or repack if necessary.
- Reduce coating viscosity.
